We are not the author of ourselves. We are already authored by the divine, created in its perfect image and likeness, and there is nothing that we need to do in order to embody that.

It is when we attempt to be something other than our authentic expression that we make a shadow over the light of our perfection, but a shadow can only hide the light until you allow the light to shine on it
