What are you feeding your mind? Where is your attention focused? is it focused on the past and old stories or narratives that have already been or is it focused on things yet to come. Spirit is inviting us today into the moment to sharpen our focus on what is rising within this moment that we can let go of or carry with us into the next moment.
The ego will attempt to distract you or even hijack the moment with thoughts of fear or thoughts about what you will be doing or should have done. We can acknowledge those thoughts and then return our focus to the now.
How can we return to the now name five things you see around you, and name what you are doing example: I am at work, I am at my desk typing up this email. These are just two ways to bring your focus back to the here and now. Remember your ego is going to attempt to get your attention in a variety of ways today acknowledge that and laugh when it comes up laugh when you find yourself playing its game and laugh as you come back to the moment. Laughing helps to you not beat yourself up and come back to the moment in joy instead of anger or frustration.
