One of the biggest blocks we come across in accepting what is is our expectations. An expectation is a story we tell ourselves about an event before we ever experience it this could be expecting it to be great or terrible either way it is a story we have in our minds.
If we want to have a wonderful experience then we must let go of expectations,. This does not mean that you can't have an intention or to expect good things for both of thous are not the story you are telling yourself, an intention is directing your focus on a particular experience or feeling. While to except is also another way of directing your focus on a particular feeling.
You can tell if you are setting an intention or except in one simple way, Are you dictating and narrating how it should go or are you merely placing your focus on how you want to feel.
