We always have the ability to choose sometimes that choice seems hard to make. We fear this new choice because what if the ego feeds us that are all fearful. One ACIM lesson has really helped me with this EVerything is a lesson God/Univers would have me learn.
To me, this lesson assures me no matter the choice I make I am going to learn and I even have a choice on how either through pain or joy. If I choose pain it is only because I am holding on to something, if I choose joy then I am choosing to let go and move to the next lesson the universe wants me to learn.
The only lesson the Divine is trying to teach us is what we are in each situation and what we is part of the divine.
