Give yourself round of applause. Be willing to recognize the progress that you have made along your parents be willing to recognize the hurdles and challenges that you have overcome.

We do this not to glorify ourselves, or to make ourselves look better. We do this as a form of self care acknowledging our own accomplishments and rewarding ourselves for what we have actually achieved this far.
