Awakening Mircales

Healing isn’t about fixing ourselves. It’s about coming into wholeness with the parts we’ve left behind.

As we grow, we learn how to fit in—through family, school, and society. Along the way, we set aside pieces of who we are. Later, when a spiritual awakening begins, those very parts rise up again. They don’t come to hurt us; they come with a question: “Are you willing to accept me now?”

This is what we often call “shadow work.” Shadows aren’t enemies. They’re invitations—reminders of our wholeness waiting to be reclaimed.

I think of the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold. The cracks don’t disappear; they become part of the beauty. In the same way, healing is not about erasing what happened—it’s about integrating every fragment into the whole.

When we see healing as fixing, it can feel like the work never ends. But when we see it as integration, the journey shifts. Each shadow that rises is simply a part of us asking to come home. And when those parts are welcomed, there’s nothing left to fix.

🌑 So here’s the invitation: when a shadow rises in you, instead of asking “How do I fix this?” try asking, “How can I welcome this part of me back home?”
