This quote reminds us that we will see the world through the lens of our attitude toward life. This means if we are apt to only focus on what is wrong then we will see a world constantly falling apart, however, the inverse is also true if we focus to much on the positive we are becoming ignorant to those who could benefit from our talents or abilities.
The key is to be willing to acknowledge what we see or are witnessing and then ask the spirit our higher power how it would see this and what action it would have us take. That way we are still focusing on the good but not to the dement of ourselves or other
