Our emotions are not good or bad. They are moment by moment day by day guide posts showing us where we are focusing our minds.


Our emotions show us if we are in alignment resource or out of alignment with source. Sometimes we have a tendency to wallow in. There’s more inward facing emotions that contract our energy contract, our perception, and we sit in them for far too long, not questioning them merely staying stuck in them.


Today be willing to ask yourself if you are in the narrative of a more constructive viewpoint or those inward facing emotions. Ask what am I focusing on right now? What thoughts are currently rising? You are doing this not out of judgment for yourself but instead to see what it is , that’s coming up so that you can begin to shift your focus.


This doesn’t mean that we ignore the emotion. It doesn’t mean that we bury it or repress it instead this questioning allows us to have it come to the surface of our consciousness so that we may move through it, and it may move through us and we can choose again.


Just because it’s moving through us, doesn’t mean that we have to automatically jump to joy instead go to the next best feeling or as a default, you can always choose gratitude. And it could simply be. I’m grateful that I can finally start to feel a little bit better. I’m grateful that I finally allowed myself to acknowledge where I was focusing. I’m grateful that even though I’m not feeling really good right now. Now I understand why.
