The light that we are does not destroy darkness darkness. It dispels it. If it destroyed darkness that means that darkness would be real that is why light dispel darkness, for it only reveals the truth behind the obscuring illusion.

When we sit in our own divine presence, we are illuminated by the light of consciousness awareness. It is only when we slip into unconsciousness, denial resistance, and fear that darkness seems to be a real force, if we are willing to sit in our presence, and be guided by the light , no matter how big the illusion it will have no choice, but to be dispelled and dispersed

You are the light you are surrounded by the light we must only turn our awareness inward to acknowledge this fact
