When we talk about self-care we need to be sure what self we are looking to honor are we going to honor the body or the spirit. You may think that is a weird question however t is one of the most important in my opinion.
When we choose to honor our spirit in whatever way be it through some of the suggestions in the picture below, for me I had a hard time with self-care because I tried to do what others were doing and just did not feel refreshed or excited. It was not until I started exploring what felt good to me that I finally started to understand self-care and what it looked like for me.
Be willing to explore self-care or if that has a negative image in your mind that's ok ask how can I honor my spirit in this moment or today?
